For a smaller contractor or project team, The Mariners offers an independent whole-house base in Poole Old Town. Stay at least two nights, or enquire about a longer assignment.
Match the house to your team
The maximum occupancy is eight, but the standard bed arrangement includes shared double beds and bunks. Please send the number of people and separate beds needed; eight individual beds are not promised. The house has several flights of stairs, so check that the layout suits everyone who will be staying.
Practical routines between shifts
A fully equipped kitchen supports shared meals, and two lounges give colleagues room to relax separately. Fibre broadband and a workspace are available for keeping up with work away from site. Tell us your usual working hours before booking: Old Town can be lively at weekends, and the house may not suit teams who need daytime sleep or guaranteed quiet.
Parking, duration and a written quote
One private parking space is available on request. Confirm vehicle dimensions before relying on it, and arrange any further vehicles or work vans separately. Share the work location, dates, expected team changes and cleaning or linen requirements. We have welcomed visiting RNLI staff and members of Williams boat teams. This is past hosting experience, not an official partnership or endorsement.

The Mariners is at 24 Market Street, Poole Old Town. Standard beds are two superkings, a double and a bunk bed across four bedrooms. Requests for alternative sleeping arrangements must be agreed in advance and never increase the eight-guest maximum.
Whole-house rates start from £275 per night September–April and £385 per night May–August. July–August Friday and Saturday nights are £595; Christmas, New Year, Easter and bank holidays are quoted separately. Cleaning and laundry are £160 per booking. One dog may stay by prior agreement for £30. Ask about discounts for stays of more than seven nights.
The booking deposit is 25%, with the balance due six weeks before arrival, or full payment for bookings made within six weeks. A separate £300 refundable damage deposit applies. Your full quote, dates, any additional services and cancellation terms must be agreed before payment. An enquiry does not secure dates.
Check-in is from 3pm and checkout by 10am. The house has stairs, one parking space on request and a central location that can be lively. Parties and events are not permitted.
